Some Changes

You may have noticed that lately, not much has been happening to the blog-but revisiting it for yet another school project seems to be the best idea. As you noted before, I will be studying animal behavior for the project-but also creating a business proposal and changes to the company and website. To start-we now have a logo which will be shared soon-and I am creating a business proposal to the ARL of Marshalltown for the business side of it. Also, Hannah and I are planning to make pet beds for shelters and possibly to sell. If you want one-get commenting and maybe something can be arranged! Just let us help the poor animals!

Animal Studies

For a school project that we were told of Wednesday, we were told that we could do a project on whatever project we could dream and learn about. Well, for one of my topics I thought of dedicating 12 hours to work at the local humane societies and shelters. I can't wait to start. I'm hoping especially for TCHS and the Marshalltown Animal Rescue League. The animals are well cared-for and the volunteers really care and hope that they get a new home.

Love this idea? Kids 8 years and older can volunteer at almost any shelter or humane society with supervision form a parent or guardian and a signed paper. Kids over the age of 14 just need the paper signed and you're on your own when you turn 18. The ARL Marshalltown says that all you need is to pop by during their hours, have them sign or whatever pertains to your age, and start helping! It's really great and I hope I learn about how the animals feel in the shelter!

Summer Pets

Well, summer is almost here, and I'm looking into something to do with our nonprofit. I recently got a pattern for dog beds, but they can also work as cat beds. I think this would be great to sell and give to the humane societies and shelters to help the animals have a better experience in tough times. If you have an opinion about my idea, I'd love to hear it and also any other ideas that you think might work well. We just hope we can help the animals through the tough times!
